Josiah Muriuki is a first generation student, a multi- award winning social entrepreneur and a leader. He is a Mastercard Foundation Alumnus and a Mandela Rhodes Scholar 2025. His leadership extends from corporate, to academic and Christian circles where he has served as Chairperson of the Scholars Program at the University of Pretoria and currently serving as a Board Member at the Institute of Food Technologists Students Association (IFTSA), as well as, the Chairperson of Epistles of Christ Fellowship.
Josiah holds a Bsc Industrial Chemistry Degree from University of Nairobi, Kenya, BSc Honours Food Science and is currently an MSc Food science candidate at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He is a distinguished speaker and passionate mentor with a particular focus in access to global opportunities for all.
He is the Founder and Executive Director of Beta Mentor Africa, an award winning organisation making an impact in the education space.
