Larry Karani, a student at the University of Pretoria and an alumnus of Pioneer High School in Kenya, has achieved a milestone that many dream of: securing a fully funded Mastercard Foundation Scholarship to study in South Africa.Larrys journey was anything but straightforward. Before connecting with Beta Mentor Africa, he had applied to 16 universities abroadand faced rejection from all. It was discouraging, Larry admits.
