Faith Wairimu, a bright and determined student from Loreto High School, Limuru, has recently achieved a remarkable milestone as a Mastercard Foundation Scholar at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, one of the most prestigious fully funded scholarships in the world.Growing up in Nairobi, Faith knew the path to higher education would not be easy. She faced numerous challenges while seeking admission to universities abroad, often encountering rejection after rejection. Every rejection felt like a door closing, Faith recalls, but I refused to let it define my journey. Her unwavering determination and belief in her abilities kept her moving forward, even when the process seemed daunting.Faiths journey took a transformative turn when she joined Beta Mentor Africas Twende Majuu Tukasome Scholarship Program.
