As the founding director of Beta Mentor Africa, Josiah's journey represents the heart and soul of our organization. His vision to transform lives through mentorship was born from his own experiences navigating academic and emotional challenges without support. Since 2018, Josiah has led Beta Mentor Africa from a small initiative to a transformative force that has reached over 20,000 students across Kenya. His leadership philosophy centers on 'Passing the Baton' - empowering each generation to uplift the next. Through his guidance, Beta Mentor Africa has developed flagship programs including Tuinuke Pamoja (High School Mentorship), Twende Majuu Tukasome (Scholarship Mentorship), Masomo Bora Tutors (Academic Tutoring), Akili Care (Mental Health Awareness), and Ajira Bora (Professional Skills Development). Josiah's commitment to addressing real challenges - mental health, financial insecurity, low self-esteem, and lack of direction - has made Beta Mentor Africa more than just another motivational program. It's a comprehensive support system that transforms lives. His belief that education is the most powerful tool for change has inspired countless young people to pursue excellence and compete on global stages. Under his leadership, Beta Mentor Africa has secured $10,000 in funding, partnered with 100+ high schools, and trained 100+ professionals.
